Meet Heather Mizeur
I have a long political resume but this work is not about campaigns, elections, political parties, or candidates. Too often the political arena thrives on "us" vs. "them" mentalities. That was something I always tried to change.
The greatest risk we face as a nation is our vast political polarization. We don't trust each other anymore. We have lost touch with the essence of our humanity: our common struggles and shared dreams.
My slogan in the 2022 Congressional race was #WeAreOne. And I meant it. I see myself in my neighbor no matter our differences. Each person I meet is worthy of my love, my respect, my patience, my compassion, and my advocacy on their behalf.
While I am no longer a candidate for office, I feel compelled to teach and share with you what I have learned over thirty years of cultivating dialogue for courageous conversations, honorable leadership, and mindful social action to bridge the divides and find authentic and meaningful connection.

Democracy is a daily act of faith in one another. Why do we let politics divide us? Soul Force Politics helps us bridge the polarization that is our greatest national security threat. Explore our tools for courageous conversations, honorable leadership, wise civic engagement, and mindful social action.
Inward Expeditions
Our retreats and online courses facilitate a deeper exploration of inner wisdom to ignite our soul’s fire. We create safe and nurturing spaces for vulnerable self-discovery to facilitate learning, grow authentic connections, and cultivate practices that support gracious and playful living.
Operation Thriving Acres
Our farm therapy and therapeutic horticulture program for Veterans and First Responders with service-connected post-traumatic stress. Civilians are invited to join us as volunteers in our gardens. Dirt therapy is good medicine for everyone.
Sacred Dreams Project
Join our humanitarian mission trips to Africa as we travel to rural Zimbabwe to dig water wells and plant irrigated gardens in partnership with Tererai Trent International.
