Interpretation and Definitions

 

Interpretation

The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. These definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.

 

Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions:

  • Account means a unique account created for You to access our Service or parts of our Service.
  • Company (referred to as either "the Company", "We", "Us" or "Our" in this Agreement)refers to MizMaryland, Inc. d/b/a WeAreOne Alliance, P.O. Box 851, Chestertown, MD 21620
  • Country refers to: Maryland, United States
  • Device means any device that can access the Service such as a computer, a cellphone or a digital tablet.
  • Orders mean a request by You to purchase Products from Us.
  • Products refer to the items offered for sale on the Service. Product offerings provided by the Company, include but are not limited to online educational courses, retreat experiences, and community subscriptions.
  • Service refers to the Website.
  • Subscriptions refer to the services or access to the Service offered on a subscription basis by the Company to You. 
  • Terms and Conditions (also referred as "Terms") mean these Terms and Conditions that form the entire agreement between You and the Company regarding the use of the Service.
  • Third-party Social Media Service means any services or content (including data, information, products or services) provided by a third-party that may be displayed, included or made available by the Service.
  • Website refers to WeAreOne Alliance, accessible from https://www.weareonealliance.org/
  • You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.

 

Acknowledgment

These are the Terms and Conditions governing the use of this Service and the agreement that operates between You and MizMaryland, Inc. d/b/a WeAreOne Alliance. These Terms and Conditions set out the rights and obligations of all users regarding the use of the Service.

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on Your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms and Conditions. By accessing or using the Service, You agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Products Offered

We provide access to a range of digital and experiential products, including but not limited to:

  • Online educational courses (live and/or recorded)
  • Retreat experiences
  • Subscriptions to private or group-based online communities
  • Resource libraries, workbooks, and other digital content

These product offerings may be updated, expanded, or discontinued at any time without notice.

Eligibility

By agreeing to these Terms, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence and that you are legally permitted to use our site and services. Use of our product offerings is void where prohibited.

Purchases

If You wish to purchase any product offering made available through the Service ("Purchase"), You may be asked to supply certain information relevant to Your Purchase, including, without limitation, Your name, billing address, and payment information.

You represent and warrant that:

  • You have the legal right to use any payment method(s) in connection with any Purchase.
  • The information You supply is true, correct, and complete.

We may use third-party services for payment processing. We do not store or collect Your payment card details directly. That information is provided directly to our third-party payment processor, which is governed by its own privacy policy.

Modifications to the Products and Prices

Prices for our product offerings are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part or content thereof) without notice. We shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, price change, suspension, or discontinuance of our services.

Payment

All payments must be received in full prior to access to any Product. Prices and availability are subject to change without notice. MizMaryland, Inc. d/b/a WeAreOne Alliance reserves the right to correct any errors in pricing and descriptions at any time.

Subscriptions

 

Subscription Period

Some parts of the Service are available only through a paid Subscription. You will be billed in advance on a recurring and periodic basis (e.g., monthly, quarterly, or annually), depending on the Subscription plan You choose.

At the end of each period, Your Subscription will automatically renew under the same terms unless You cancel it or MizMaryland, Inc. d/b/a WeAreOne Alliance cancels it.

Subscription Cancellations

You may cancel Your Subscription at any time through Your account settings or by contacting Us. Cancellations will apply to the next billing cycle. You will not receive a refund for fees already paid for the current Subscription period, but You will retain access until the end of that period.

Free Trials and Promotional Offers

MizMaryland, Inc. d/b/a WeAreOne Alliance may, at its sole discretion, offer free trials or promotional access to certain Products. If a free trial is offered, You may be required to enter payment information, but You will not be charged until the trial period ends.

Unless You cancel before the end of the free trial, Your access will convert to a paid Subscription, and You will be billed according to the plan You selected. Only one free trial may be used per person or account unless otherwise stated.

We reserve the right to modify or terminate free trials and promotional offers at any time without notice.

User Accounts

When You create an account with Us, You must provide Us information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of Your account on Our Service.

You are responsible for safeguarding the password that You use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under Your password, whether Your password is with Our Service or a Third-Party Social Media Service.

You agree not to disclose Your password to any third party. You must notify Us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of Your account.

You may not use as a username the name of another person or entity or that is not lawfully available for use, a name or trademark that is subject to any rights of another person or entity other than You without appropriate authorization, or a name that is otherwise offensive, vulgar or obscene.

Refunds

Due to the nature of our offerings—including digital content, scheduled retreats, and community membership—all sales are final unless explicitly stated otherwise. Refunds are issued only at the discretion of MizMaryland, Inc. d/b/a WeAreOne Alliance.

Availability, Errors, and Inaccuracies

We are constantly updating our Service. We may experience delays in updating information and in our advertising. The information found on the Service may contain errors or inaccuracies and may not be complete or current. MizMaryland, Inc. d/b/a WeAreOne Alliance reserves the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions and to change or update information at any time without prior notice.

Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of MizMaryland, Inc. d/b/a WeAreOne Alliance and its licensors. You may not use any content without express written permission, except as permitted under fair use doctrine.

Links to Other Websites

Our Service may contain links to third-party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by the Company.

The Company has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party web sites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that the Company shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with the use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such web sites or services.

We strongly advise You to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of any third-party web sites or services that You visit.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend Your access immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if You breach these Terms and Conditions.

Upon termination, Your right to use the Service will cease immediately. If You wish to terminate Your Account, You may simply discontinue using the Service.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MizMaryland, Inc. d/b/a WeAreOne Alliance shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits or data, resulting from Your use or inability to use the Service.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

For European Union (EU) Users

If You are a European Union consumer, you will benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which You are resident.

United States Federal Government End Use Provisions

If You are a U.S. federal government end user, our Service is a "Commercial Item" as that term is defined at 48 C.F.R. §2.101.

United States Legal Compliance

You represent and warrant that (i) You are not located in a country that is subject to the United States government embargo, or that has been designated by the United States government as a "terrorist supporting" country, and (ii) You are not listed on any United States government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

Severability and Waiver

 

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision will be changed and interpreted to accomplish the objectives of such provision to the greatest extent possible under applicable law and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

Waiver

Except as provided herein, the failure to exercise a right or to require performance of an obligation under these Terms shall not affect a party's ability to exercise such right or require such performance at any time thereafter nor shall the waiver of a breach constitute a waiver of any subsequent breach.

Changes to These Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right, at Our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, We will provide at least 30 days’ notice before new terms take effect.

By continuing to access or use Our Service after those revisions become effective, You agree to be bound by the revised terms.
